PROGRESSION SERIES 1

These visual images convey a message
as aptly as music sets a mood. Sylvia uses
space, color and symbols to dramitize and
emphasize the ideas and feelings of each
subject. The symbols of Cat, Seed and
feather are chosen because of their universal
and timeless nature.

THE CAT depicts the progression of thoughts
to action. So, as a cat thinks of leaping before
he leaps, so all thought precedes the action.

THE SEED depicts the inner source of
energy in all of us waiting for conditions
to be met so we can burst forth into
growth. Building strong root systems
of thought, with the sky as our potential,
we unfurl our first leaves, toward growth.

THE FEATHER depicts the colors of light being
bestowed upon our senses, as inspiration, circling
our soul and pouring into our unlimited potential.
An eternal sheet of white paper, beckons for our
individual self expression.
